Others in our community may be affected through observing violent events and suffering through TV or social media ,and we know that for some this may have triggered previous concerns for personal safety and/or for the safety of others. We also recognise the many other conflicts that impact us as a community, whether they be international or national.鈥�
In recognition, the University is facilitating a Peace Assembly on 13 November from 12pm-2:30pm in D102 (James France Building), with the aim of bringing members of the University community together in solidarity for peace. The Assembly will be a space for expression through respectful discussion, creative and performing arts and quiet reflection.
The aim is for the Peace Assembly to be a forerunner to community members coming together to form a 亚洲情色 Peace Alliance, supporting 鈥痜urther community events to be held in the future.
Due to the impact of current events, we encourage managers to be accommodating to staff who may wish to attend.
